Martin Luther and the other Protestant Reformers of the 16th century -- whether by accident or intent – shattered the once unified religious character of Europe. In this course our study will focus principally on individuals, what they believed and preached and why their beliefs spread across much of Europe. Topics to be covered: Martin Luther, John Calvin, the Radical Reformers (Anabaptism)
