We will examine comedies, dramas and documentaries that feature senior citizens who are celebrating life or coping with its challenges in terms of relationships, health, travel and other topics. Men and women in their sixties and beyond have been presented in movies in an ever-widening variety of refreshing contexts. In this course, we will talk about and view films from the past fifty years, which provide insights into out “Golden Years.”

REQUIRED BOOK:  Roger Ebert’s Four Star Reviews, available in the Assumption Bookstore.
